Patricia Camarillo is a teacher of students with visual impairments for a local school district and has been teaching for 16 years. She has a Master’s degree in Special Education from Fresno Pacific University, an Education Specialist in Visual Impairment Credential from San Francisco State University, and a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from Fresno State University. She is currently completing her Orthopedic Impairment Added Authorization Credential from Madera County Superintendent of Schools and working towards her National Board Certification for Expectational Needs with an emphasis in visual impairment. Patricia’s experience and passion for the importance of direct and specialized instruction of blind and visually impaired individuals led her to join the Board of Directors.
Interests: Patricia actively collaborates with community agencies, focusing on the individualized achievement of students with visual impairment in order to lead independent and meaningful lives of their choice.
