ALVIN MARTIN

My name is Alvin Martin and I teach Assistive Technology, Braille and ILS in the South Valley. I am here to help other visually impaired individuals accomplish any goals that they want to achieve. Over the past 4 years I have attended Orientation Center for the blind in Albany, California, Guide Dogs, and World Services for the Blind in Little Rock, Arkansas. There I earned my Microsoft Office and Assistive Technology Certifications. I have been visually impaired most of my life, due to a hereditary eye disease within my family. I have faced many challenges along the way and want to let others know that they can be overcome.
