Christine A. Delmonico is an instructor of Independent Living Skills, Braille, Assistive Technology and Adaptive Daily Living Skills. She is a Certified Vision Rehabilitation Therapist (CVRT) recognized by the Academy of Certified Rehabilitation and Educational Professionals (ACVREP). Her other credentials include both an A.A degree in General Studies and a B.S. degree in Child & Family Studies/Psychology from Webber State University. She did a Master’s program in Blindness & Low Vision Studies in Western Michigan University. She is also enrolled in Professional Development courses at the Hadley School for the Blind.


For ten years before joining the Valley Center for the Blind, Christine worked in various roles at SAAVI Services for the Blind in Tucson, Arizona. There, she also coordinated the Independent Living Blind program for people over the age of 55 and the senior population. Christine chose to be involved with the Valley Center for the Blind because she wanted a professional platform to train, advocate, and inspire those who are blind or visually impaired.


Interests: singing, dancing, cooking/baking, training with dogs, traveling, arts and crafts, and collecting angels.
