GEORGE SAXELBY

I was born being legally blind from toxoplasmosis caused by a parasite. I attempted to learn Braille from the fifth through eighth grades. (I flunked). I have a B.A. And M.A. Degrees and I worked as a recreational therapist for over forty years; Fresno County Health Department, Valley Medical Center and Community Medical Centers. I retired in May, 2013. I have been married for forty-six years, have three grown children and six Grandchildren. I have been a VCB Board member since May, 2014. God has blessed my life even though I am legally blind!
