Valley Center for the Blind is committed to teaching the most up-to-date and effective techniques that make a real difference in the lives of those with vision loss. Our trainers use a variety of methods to ensure that students are engaged as they build necessary skills to accomplish their personalized plan of independence. All training programs begin with an assessment of current skills, discussion of goal setting and recommendations of tools or equipment that may benefit the participant. Our Core Courses provide a structured, supportive and innovative opportunity to build skills that can provide the opportunity for complete independence for the visually impaired participants we are proud to serve.
