Alvin Martin is an instructor of Assistive Technology, Independent Living Skills, and Braille in the South Valley. He has attended Orientation Center for the Blind in Albany, California, Guide Dogs, and World Services for the Blind in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is certified in Microsoft Office, JAWS, Independent Living Skills, and Assistive Technology. As someone who is blind, Alvin understands the challenges that clients face. Being a part of the Valley Center for the Blind allows him to help others with visual impairment and blindness overcome those challenges and achieve their goals.
